Thanks for the Support
I started gathering Ironman and Ironman 70.3 results in 2012. Largely as a personal project that allowed me to use my skills as a developer to support my coaching. I wanted to understand what was actually happening at races and see if the data matched commonly held coaching beliefs. I also wanted to put performances in context for athletes and show how varied Ironman courses can be.
I don't track the hours committed to this project but at this stage it's in the thousands. I remain committed to providing data freely. I charge for individual consultations on qualification and let's be honest the data drives traffic that I hope will also check my coaching details. But this remains a personally driven project to provide data and insight into long-distance tri performance.
Your support helps me sustain the project, better resource it and commit more time towards its development. So, thanks for chipping in and I hope you continue to find the data useful.
