The announcement of my 2018 triathlon training camp is long overdue. I’ll be returning to Lanzarote in March for a week of warm weather training to kickstart the season. I’ll only be out there for a single week and spaces are limited – already half of them are gone.
The 2018 camp will run from Saturday, 3rd March through to Saturday, 10th March with training every day between. This year’s camp will cost £750.00 for half board accommodation in a superior room at Sands Beach Resort (based on 2 athletes sharing a room). Full details of the camp can be found on my training camp page.
As in previous years, the camp will be weighted towards bike and swim, but will include regular, focussed run sessions. We’ll ride a variety of planned routes around the island including the opportunity to complete the full Ironman course. There’ll be daily group swims and every athlete will get a 1-2-1 video review of their technique, plus the time for additional 1-2-1 swim coaching. Run sessions will include hill reps, short intervals, a small race and some bricks. All of this under my watchful eye.
Athletes of all abilities are welcome. I’ve catered for a broad range of triathletes on my camps, from beginners through to Kona qualifiers. I look to ensure every athlete gets the most they can from the week and trains at a level appropriate for them.
You can read more about previous camps in my camp reports. You’ll find more details and past itineraries on my training camp page. If you have any questions about the camp or you’d like to claim one of the remaining spots, get in touch.
